Ambulant Submissions Guidelines:

Ambulant seeks to publish innovative poetry, short fiction and visual media.

There are no limitations in subject matter unless otherwise indicated by a themed issue.

Visual Media: Photographs, photographic renditions of paintings, sculpture or other artwork and images composed through digital rendering can be represented. Since there are infinite variations of electronic errors that can occur, it is the sole responsibility of the artist to submit representations that most accurately conceptualize the true work.

Attachments of text should be sent in MS Word format. This ensures the preservation of formatting used in the work.

Guidelines and Limitations:

Poetry Please send 5-8 poems with no single poem exceeding 4 pages.

Fiction Please send 2-3 pieces of short fiction and/or excerpts of longer works none exceeding 12 pages.

Currently no whole manuscripts are encouraged.

Visual Media Please send JPEGs via email attachment. Slides or numerous JPEG

submissions are also accepted via snail mail. Send slides and discs well protected.
If you need these items back please send return postage and address.
